Finally, Internet works magically now. Using it non-stop from last 24 hours and haven’t faced a single downtime.

I really appreciate Praveen and his whole team for helping me out and taking responsibility of their actions. I really respect that quality. Whatever happened in past could have been avoided but DEN boomband managed to rose up quickly by learning from their mistakes and quickly providing the resolution with very subtle and professional approach!

I will soon be writing a review about my usage of this new baby in around 7 days. For now speeds are constant 20mbps which is league apart and is like 400% more than my ex-broadband – MTNL’s poor 512kbps. Here’s a glimpse for you:

>>Update #3 (13th June’15):

Well, I woke up with no internet today. Earlier it used to work in day and only used to show trouble at 10 pm. So, I assumed that they still might be working on the fix. I didn’t call today as I didn’t want to be a pain in the ass for the DEN team and decided it was best to let them work.

At around 1pm I received a call and asked if the net is working today as they got the root problem. I was surprised and told him about no connectivity to which he was genuinely surprised. He immediately send a team to my home to check what was the issue now. So turned out that the problem was with the power supply at their node end where it was getting overloaded and shutting down the internet at night. They immediately replaced the faulty power supply with the new one and presto! The internet started working again.

From 2 pm till midnight, Den team was here near the amplifier on the electric pole outside my building. I received a call from Praveen at around 10 pm and he asked me that if today it was working and yes indeed it was. He paid me a visit along with Mr Ashok(he handles tech). Ashok and Praveen also discussed with me that how they tracked the problem and described me the steps they took in detail which I appreciate alot. They waited till 10:40 pm to be sure that the problem is resolved for good this time. At last I had to sign a NFF(No fault found) paper to give my consent that problem is fixed and I am satisfied with the resolution.


>>Update #2 (12th June’15):

Today also I was followed up very nicely by the team to enquire if the internet is working or not which I confirmed with my mom to be working as I was in the office. I came back home at 7 pm and found DEN engineers running tests on the line(alleged since morning) to make sure fault is gone.

At around 8 pm, I received call from Praveen and he asked me if internet was working, to which I confirmed affirmatively and also assured me that he will in D-block, Sector-15, Rohini only till the night and they will monitor is today also. Great!

Well, I was assured that problem has been fixed but at 10 pm again the connection went down! Ha! But once again Praveen led his team to run test and catch the issue as it was pretty bizzare as we guys couldn’t understand that actually what unusual happens at 10 pm. Since NDPL is the electricity provider in North Delhi, we see very few power cuts and also voltage is always constant(negligible fluctuation) so we ruled out the voltage spike messing with amplifier theory. Today also the team worked and Praveen assured me that problem will be surely caught tonight as troubleshooting multiple simplifiers may take whole night.


>>Update #1 (11th June’15):

Today, on the date of this post itself, I received a call from DEN main office in Mumbai. They listened to my problem with patience and promised to get it resolved by night itself.

I came from office around 8 pm and was surprised to find a 10 member team of DEN engineers led by Mr Praveen already working and testing the line of my connection. I guess I was too eager to write this post without checking status of work. Praveen was very cooperative and sat with me at night to observe the issue and yes as soon as the clock hit 10 pm mark the connectivity went away. Immediately his team hooked up their testing modem and machine to the link to check the strength and the fault. I was surprised by the quick action. I managed to learn few things about how ISP works and how infrastructure is set up from Praveen (experienced fellow he is).

After an hour or so, the DEN team managed to zero in the issue to a faulty amplifier in the adjacent E-block. At around 11.30 pm, Praveen went down with the team to the faulty location and got it changed at around 1 am and surely he updated me. Good enough my internet started working! Yay!

Praveen maintained excellent communication as he updated me about the status of the progress from time to time. I am very much satisfied with the quick action these guys took to solve the problem.


To whomever it may concern!

First of all,

DEN BOOMBAND, YOU SUCK! YEP YOU DO!

Well, my name is Jatin Kumar Malik(UID: jatmal_3). It’s been 1 week since I took the connection and believe me I have faced nothing but trouble, bucket loads of it every single day. First you guys honeypotted whole society by applying sticker and throwing flyer like ALMOST EVERYWHERE.Full points for promotion and yep duly agreed your plans look good on paper but sadly you have failed it. Den boomband doesn’t understand that one has to provide service after taking CUSTOMERS MONEY!

SoI also became victim of Den boomband’s honeypot when I compared my then-existing MTNL plan with theirs. I called up the sales executive in the noon and guess what, he was here in 10 minutes(just wish the same speed was there to fix a problem). So, I got the connection(SRF#:0048085) and made a payment of ₹3033 as a 3 month advanced rental as per the plan to Mr Manish Singh(Sales executive) on 30th May 2015. He promised to get the installation done in 2 days. I was happy with the procedure but little did I know, no one came at allI lodged a complaint and was promised the resolution in 24 hours. But nope, NOTHING! I waited patiently and I get the call that connection will be installed next day (i.e 3rd June). I took work from home from my office to see to it that connection is done properly and guess what! No one came.

Den boomband is a live perfect example about poor commitments.

It was on 4th June i.e. 6 days later from booking date that too after multiple complaints, Mr Shyamlal(the wiring guy) came to set up the wiring and guess what, he didn’t even brought stairs to use and connect the line on the electricity pillar. He used his atlas cycle to climb on and did a lot of jumping on same to fix the connection god knows how! After somehow fitting the wires(Wiring Completion report#:32022), he promised me that tech-team will come in 15 minutes to setup the configuration. Guess what? I waited and waited and no one came. Next day some Engineers came from behind when my mother was home without calling first and installed the connection(Installation report#:37087) without checking anything and left!

I came home in evening all excited just to see that Den boomband was not working. It felt like a huge blow to my heart as I was worried if I did make the mistake by disconnecting my old, slow yet consistently working and trustworthy MTNL and taking the Den boomband connection. To my horror, I was true.

After 4th June, it all followed a chain of frustrated calls/complaints to everyone from Sales team to Tech team to Engineer to Online support! I called up everyone, registered complaints and did what not. But nope, no action was taken.

I went to Den boomband’s, Rohini office, on Saturday got more numbers to dial too. Follow the chain here:

I called up Mr. Manish Singh(995xxxx921), he gave me number of his Team Leader – Mr. Lalit(971xxx099) who got irritated and said he is in Sales team and can’t do anything, also how it’s the tech guys who are at fault and gave me number of Mr. Praveen(882xxxx699) – who is supposed to be a Tech-Manager or something. I had a call session with Praveen and he gave me number of Mr. Shashank(964xxxx540) whom upon calling came to home once and checked it was working and got me to sign the NFF(No fault found) form(NFF Form #25412) and asked me to call him if any problem arises. I kept an eye on internet and noticed the strange behaviour. At every night around 9.45-10pm the connectivity will go and won’t be back until morning which is surprising as it happens everyday and I have complained about this everywhere possible. I have logged a complaint online twice (Complaint #1: ID175611 and #2:IA179890) but nothing, no one even visited since then. It’s been a full week now and I am attaching my call log for you to see how irresponsible this company DEN networks is and how reckless is their employee’s attitude. These are 52 calls for last 4 days here in chronologically arranged screenshots. That’s DEN Network is a shame for you!

I am actually following up with Praveen and Shashank from 5 days now(as you can see from above) daily calling them to tell them that issue still persists but all in vain. They both everyday promises that they are getting the problem checked, promises that a team will visit and inspect the connection and everyday promise that problem is fixed now and I won’t face it again only for me to come back from office and face the downtime. Praveen as well as committed me to send his team at 10 pm twice to inspect, but his phone went out of network area and I kept waiting and trying his number for hours. How irresponsible is this now? Either don’t commit anything or just do it.

I want to know how difficult is to get the problem fixed by putting your best team on it. It may be a simple hardware issue which may not even take more than 1 hour. HOW DIFFICULT DEN? TELL ME!

It is very frustrating as I am a working professional and I am usually back to home by 9pm. After resting a bit and having my dinner whenever I sit on my machine to use the Internet, it is down. I don’t understand what am I paying for. Everyone keeps blaming the other team, it feels like you are dealing with kindergarten’s children. Even typical government offices are better to deal with as they actually listen! You have to understand my mental condition by having to call everyone every single day.

Update: In contrast to my rant above, it seems like that the Sales team are on a mission to conquer. After putting up a mess of pamphlets and sticking that goddamn pink sticker on every surface in society, They are now going door-to-door to persuade people to get connections which is a shame because if DEN boomband doesn’t care about Existing customers and is only interested in making new customers by taking their money in 3 months advanced and then depriving them of the very service they are paying for, well it’s preposterous. What’s the point if your company can’t listen its own customer! I am honestly surprised how is this company even working!

Finally, I am tired of following up with complaints, your employees etc in my first week of service itself and I demand a refund failing which I am going to see DEN boomband in consumer court. It has been a total mental harassment and I don’t recommend anyone to even try DEN boomband in their dreams so as to save themselves from atrocities.

Den Boomband is surely on the way to doom-band!

    It is submitted that I am using plan of 50 MBPS but speed provide to me between 5 – 6 MBPS,
    MY ID: Abdul_W123 Mobile No. 9415040764
    Right now I have checked and found speed as:-
    5.32
    1.68
    1st Sept’16 complain ticket number is VV1130252
    5th Sept’16 complain ticket number is VV1131558
    Den technical staff was attended on 3rd day of September and failed to solving our issue of Speed and he asked me I will resolve it from our office end.
    After 03.09.2016 neither turn up not resolve problem till now 07/09/2016.

    Your call center fellows repeating same lines your problem will solve within 24 hours so I, am saying now 4 times 24 hours passed, I think your 24 hours are endless.
    I think your service proving system is beyond your control with all respect no body is taking responsibility and properly replying from top to bottom.
    Finally I am suggesting to use plan of 5 MBPS and not to above because they failed to provide speed as saying 20 MBPS, 50 MBPS and 100 MBPS
    I am further saying your technical staff is not qualified who resolve the issued they are only simple electrician.

      I have a similar kind of story…my complaint no. is CAS-762935-XH2.in the name of 10mbps m getting 0.33mbps… no one has responded from customer service centre till now..have tried 5times .

      Fucking useless customer support of den boom band. I was offered 20GB data with speed of 5mbps and secondary speed 512 kbps but they have updated the plan 15GB data with 128kbps plan . Called 10 times . Spoke to 2 supervisors. Spoke with nodal officer but no resolution. They accept it that CSA provided wrong information and taken the money however they are not able to make the change. They have the recording which was offered by CSA but they don’t bother to check that. Never believe on den boom band. When their CSA don’t find any resolution, they disconnect the phone and never call back.

    1. ur service is a big fraud/farzi
    2. internet down every alternate day
    3. every 2nd day there is some technical reason for internet not coming

    4. ppl save ur self from dan boomband fraud service provider
    5, why dont u compensate customers when internet is not coming due to ur fault?

    Yes den boomband is doom band. One of the worst internet provider. Their customer care keep on saying they will sort out in 24 hours but days pass ,months pass 24 hours never pass. Nodal officer never picks the phone . They are the company of cheats. I just want to kick them one by one . Never go for den they always remain in den. Worst worst and worst company

    The New Customer Care number is to FOOL people around. Customers always hear this “The Customer you are calling is Busy on Another call, kindly call later”

    Above all the customer care email id is also there to make you a fool as all mails sent to it will get bounced.

    Internet is always down during Working Hours.

    One word to describe Den Boomband – “FRAUDS”

        I stay in Keshav Puram Delhi 35. They have mended their Customer Care number after I posted on their Facebook page. Don’t think they were always like this. But I still strongly believe that they should care for their customers more if they want to sustain. This is not the right way that when a customer starts complaining on Social media , then only you will start mending your ways.

    i have tried many time to contact den team. through Phone Calls..
    mail also. but none of giving response. my internet not working properly.
    few times when phone connect. Representative cut the phone without saying anything. facing Issue So long these are new contact details where i tried to contact them.

    I have paid 3 months advance during installation of my den boomband and Mr Dhruv Awasthi (09818195403) had committed me that i will 1 month free surfing if i will pay 3 month advance at on go . But now nobody is responding , he stopped taking my calls and there is no response from Mr. Dhruv . I have complained regarding the same to Mr. Manish (0-9717733066) but he seems to be very busy and they way he responded i feel like abusing him .

    I have registered a complain to your customer care & Complaint no is IW924912 .

    I request you to take action as soon as possible as it is highly delay from your side .

    Above mail i have sent to there customer care but these bunch of idiots are not responding .

    Much dissatisfied from den boomband . No problem with speed but matter is about service from den
    it’s too bad when i call to customer care no. (18004193030) there one thing that i always hear is ‘our executive is busy with other customer’
    but by luck last month they recuve my call nd i requested for payment collection and they told me that there executive will come after one day and after 4-5 days also no excecutive came
    so i am very dissapointed from den serive

    I am using DEN internet from last 8 months as far as speed is concerned I am happy but they have Field staff who misguide customers as I bought the 1st connection for 20 MBPS 30 GB Plan after the expiry of the subscription period Mr. Rahul Shoukeen (Field Exec. DEN) suggested me to get a new connection and he offered me 3 months +2 months subscription and I accepted. I got a new connection for 3+2 months but it worked for 4 months and Now I am without internet connection.

    I complained about it but no one is paying any attention to me or my problem I am facing without internet connection.

    Last month I got a message from DEN on my mobile if I get it renewed they offered me 3+3 or 6+6 months offer but I thought to get it renewed once my subscription expires.

    Now DEN people are not trying to resolve my issues. No body is talking to me, If I call Call Center they said they do not know anything about these kinds of offers. Whome should I contact I simply do not know.

    Fraud done by Den Boomband
    I made an online transfer of Rs. 1031 for recharging my account and selected the plan of 20 mpbs as Den had poor connectivity in my home. But the plan activated was 5mpbs and even after my 3 complaints to them . They had not provided any answer, ever executive replies with a sorry and no solution.

    Man! I am joining you guys in you mourning. Got the router installed just today and yep, paid 2.5k for the 3 month pack. Been trying since morning but its not working, the so called engineer came twice but could not help get me going with this pathetic piece of broadband that they call boom band, I would call it Bum Pain, or pain in the ass…whatever. Benen calling the customer care but they hang affter telling me that they are putting me on hold to resolve the issue. All this shit on day 1, I mean, seriously, den? I wish I had known about its poor service before. Buy guys, we all should do something to make this service go down and extinct before more poor souls get trapped and they mint money. UNITY is strength. So, why not we do something…like something real bad for the shitty company. IDK what, but they should be put into a den with a cannibal lion who is hungry for months. BAN DEN BOOM BAND!!

      Harris, instead of doing something extreme, just try tweeting them your cause. Customer care number is an endless tunnel of harassment.

      Note for you: Next time you get any subscription/connection, take the number of person who is selling it to you and his team lead’s number too with their names. It will help immensely. 🙂

    Hey guys,
    Had i knew about this forum, I wld have definitely stick to MTNL. The level of service which this bogus co. provides to the customer is epic. Not only the sales reps are worthless but also the customer care is highly unprofessional.
    It all started on 23rd of October 2015 when a guy named Avnish came to my house with the DEN cable rep. Assuming that the service provided with DEN cable works fine i agreed for their connection. when i negotiated with him that if any added service or promotional discount is avl he revealed that for promotion purposes the company is gving 3mnths+1mnth subcription free.But in the month of january itself i started getting the msgs from them for recharging of connection. When i asked this guy about the matter , the reply was ” sir maine apne end se mail kar di hai…ab upar waley nahi kar rahe to main kya karun”. Not only this, the guy was so unethical that he bloody is not ready to face me. But i guess there are more chances of pigs flying in the sky than to expect DEN guyz to be ethical. This resulted in halting of my connection on 23 rd January.
    The problem became more acute when i got stuck in the loop of customer care. The bunch of radios they are who are stuck on only one point and one point only. When i asked about their promise of ” reverting a complaint in 24 hrs”…the reply was ” this is not a technical complaint”….epic. After giving up on expecting for a sensible reply from atleast one representative, i asked that can u please provide a pickup facility for the payment the lady again promised for “reply within 24 hrs” which is needless to say, far away from reality.
    During whole of this so called “customer care” nobody from the senior authority tried to call me…neither a msg is recvd ,either on mail or on sms. On top of that, before writing this when i called the customer care it was revealed that my complaint is already closed..wtf.
    So in the name of humanity.” If u want to get DOOMED den only get BOOMED with DEN”

      Do you have the extra free month thing in written? If not, then your representative just made a fool of you and sold the connection to meet his target.

      I think you are also trying the wrong web address for online payment like I was. Try logging onto http://www.dennetworks.com/payment-l2s/ to recharge your connection. 🙂

      p.s: If you do have it in written, make sure to follow up with them on Social channel of your choice. It shall help.

        Yes, i have that in written. I also didn’t want to pay online as i wanted some DEN rep to see me in person so i can deal with it. I have now recharged it online and talked to their seniors about whole incident. Let’s see where it all leads to. I think this page is trending too thanks to you.

    Dear Sir/Madam,

    On 21st jan 2016, i made a request to den customer care for payment pickup for my monthly recharge as your website is not working.

    Then on 23rd jan, i call den customer care number in the morning & i told them to activate my account as your executive wasn’t come even after 24 hours.

    So, the customer care agent told me that he is activating my account for 24 hours & he will send the executive for collecting the payment.
    Then after 1 hour i got a call from your executive that he’ll be coming for collecting the payment.

    My internet connection is working fine till 9pm, then it’s stop working.
    Then around 11pm, i call the customer care no, & the agent told me that you have to deposit activation charges/security(i don’t remember what he said).

    That agent really testing my patience. So i told him to transfer this call to his supervisor. Then after so many holds, that agent finally transferred the call to Mr. Ashvani(Excalation Department) & they told me to wait till 24th jan(3 pm).

    Then on 24th jan, around 12.30 pm, i called up to the customer care regarding the updation. Then Ms. Neha told me that there is no complaint raised. Then she raised the complaint for me.

    Every one is keep telling me that your cheque has been bounced, you need to pay penalty worth Rs.300
    I never ever give any cheque to anyone.
    What the hell is going on!
    I make the payment, so my internet should need to be working as it’s a prepaid internet plans.

    Then after 3pm , i called up to the customer care as i didn’t got any call from Mr. Ashvani(Excalation).
    Then Mr. Pawan picked up my call & after so many request he finally transfered the call to the floor supervisor Mr. Sandeep, & he told me to wait till 5pm.
    Then at 4.30 pm, I got a call from Mr.Sandeep & he told me that your cheque no is 24670 from ICICI bank dated 8th Nov has been bounced.
    So you have to pay 2000+300 penalty in order to activate your account.
    He told me that this cheque has been bounced on 2nd jan.

    So Mr. den, now you guys are doing fraud. I didn’t gave any cheque.
    That agent which collected my documents for installation, he might gave his own cheque.
    If cheque bounced on 2nd jan, then you should inform me that your cheque has been bounced. After collecting monthly payment on 23rd jan, you are telling me that i have to pay 2300 more.
    What the hell!!
    It means 2300+859 for 1 month internet.
    Wah!!!

    So, now after 2 months, you guys suddenly remember to collect the activation charges/security.
    Even i don’t know that i need to pay something more.
    This should be clear out on day 1.
    Not after 2 months(stop giving surprise to the customers).

    You tell me that after collecting the payment, how you guys deactivated my account.
    Is it my fault??
    Why should i bear??
    What should i do??
    Even after making the payment,i’m stuck 🙁 🙁 🙁

    As on call from the customer care, I’m not getting any solution, so after requesting so many times to the agent, supervisor etc etc etc etc etc. I finally E-mail you my complete story. I’m so tired to call the customer care again n again & told my story to everyone who so ever picked up my call.
    Hopefully i get the solution over here.
    If not, then tell me where should i go 🙁 🙁 🙁 🙁 🙁 🙁 🙁

    Don’t make this story that i need to pay 2300 for activation.
    Blah blah blah
    I really feel to be cheated by you guys( so called den boomband).
    I wasted so much energy.

    I will also going to share this mail on social networking if i don’t get any positive response. I’m not threating you, i just wanna tell people about your fraud.
    Shame on you

    Do the needful & activate my account.
    I’m not going to pay any hidden charges.
    Wave off the charges.

      I will suggest you to try to complain on their email id: careboomband@denonline.in
      I have a feeling they will take you seriously. I never had to pay any activation charges what-so-ever. I will also suggest you to take this up on a official channel as their Customer care on Call is a joke. -_-

    Please do not buy DEN boomband. They took my money so fast but when the engineer came he noticed that all the infrastructure that should be present for a new connection is unavailable on top of the society terrace as the team that installed the wiring fucked up. Now, this guy doesn’t tell me that we can’t install your connection. This guy runs away. Without saying anything. NO PROFESSIONAL COURTESY TO MAN UP AND TALK TO ME. Next, I am chasing people, calling numbers which assure me that it will be done. Finally a sane person called Paras (9996880405) tells me that DEN connection cannot be installed at my place because of said technical errors. At least he promptly told me on my face without bickering about. But who do I chase for refund ? The sales person Puneet (8285137850) who was so prompt to send me an executive to collect my cash didn’t pick up my phone despite me calling him 30 times. Finally when someone picked up it was a woman. Again, NO PROFESSIONAL COURTESY TO MAN UP AND TALK to me himself. He is asking his female colleague to cover up for him. I am still waiting on a refund. This is the most unprofessional internet company I have encountered.

    Hi,

    I live in Dwarka and currently have 16 Mbps plan from Airtel which costs around 3k per month, the connection is good, I get speeds upto 15 Mbps constantly and the problem resolution is very prompt (takes at most 24 hours). I have only faced connection issues twice in an year.

    The problem with Airtel is that they are using ADSL2+ technology and hence the upload speeds are only around 512Kbps and they do not have fibre connection in my area. Den Boomband has recently started services in my Apartment and I was hoping to get a 100Mbps connection.

    Thanks to your post, (it is in the first page of google search results if you search for Den Boomband reviews), I will stick with Airtel for now. Also, do you have any suggestions for a faster Internet in my area?

    Hi,

    My name is Mohammad Saquib Iqbal and I would like to bring to your notice that Den Boomband is the worst internet service provider i have ever used.

    I applied for the services in August 2015 and since then i have faced issues. I will do my best to point out some of the major issues that i have faced since day 1.

    Day 1: I was told that installation is the part of the service and the team would install the router properly a my home. The team came in without proper equipments and hence left the house without installing the router. 4 months have passed by and the wires are still dangling outside the house and they still do not have the drill machine to properly install the router.

    Month of September and October: I had few issues and i was satisfied with the services.
    Month of November: The issues started and had to register 10+ complains in a month to get the internet. In other words i didnt had internet for 10 days (in total) in the month of 30 days.

    Month of December: Even Worse. I have listed the issues down below.
    I had 15+ complaints with service request numbers from the DEN customer care number in the month of December alone.
    One fine day the internet stopped for 5 consecutive days. no respite even after various complaints.
    The technician that came to my place did what he had to do, and then provided the awsomest solution. He mentioned that your internet has stopped because you have consumed 70 GBs and asked me to recharge again. (PLEASE NOTE: I have an unlimited data usage plan). This was pathetic. This is a case of fraud.
    On calling the customer care again, the confirmed that data usage is not the case, so they sent another technician and the issue was resolved.
    Issue with Happy Code: (Happy code is the code generated by DEN automated system on raising a complain and is sent to the customer by sms. Once the issue is resolved the technician would ask you to provide the happy code. Its a way of saying that “yes i am happy with the resolution”). One fine day, the issue wasn’t resolved by the technician. I didn’t provide the happy code. However, he cheated somehow and uploaded a happy code. I got to know this later when i raised the complaint again.
    Connectivity at Night: Internet DOESN’T WORK AT NIGHT. DEN Boomband provides internet ONLY during the day. I have been using the internet from 100 days and i can assure you that your internet will get disconnected for 2 hours or more every day between now 12 am to 6 am.
    On 27th December, i called the customer care and mentioned that I took a 3 months plan and my next recharge is due on 30th December, however, i never had internet for at least 20 days (if you add al the complaints). I have paid for it so what is the compensation. I was told that they do not have any policy regarding this. In other word I was told that “Sir, you are a fool. We will charge you and not provide the services and there is nothing that you can do about it”.

    I would like you to respond me with proper explanation for all the 7 points mentioned above explaining the reason for the Deficiency in Services with a proper action plan as to how you are going to deal with it in the future. I also demand a compensation for all the Harassment that i have been through.

      I am using Airtel in Dwarka and it works like a charm, no connection or speed issues. Had an issue once or twice but the same was resolved within 24 hours. Once the wiring broke, even that was fixed in 24 hours.

        I know right! Airtel is kickass. I had a broadband line back in Bangalore and in my 3 months of usage, not even once I had to face any downtime and I used to get full 8 mbps as promised up to the brim.

        Sadly, I don’t have the availability at my home else I would have gone for it in a heartbeat. Although it’s a bit expensive but worth all the headache we have to face with other ISPs. 🙂

      Nope, Den boomband doesn’t provide any torrent caching and I am not sure if it’s even legal. 😉
      So, you won’t find any big ISP offering the same. Only local ISPs could dare to do so.

    I am your neighbor and live in D-8/29 and have faced after sales issues with Den Boomband.
    One is Customer Care > The guys there actually dont have any updates but still are asked to give fake promises on each and every call.
    2nd is Billing > The online recharges which i did 2 onths back was misrouted due to their billing team and they took 13 days to find it and get it restored.
    3rd is Team managment > They dont work in coordination. None of the field executive knows where the technical team is. They call you 1st and then you call him repeated times. They are never sure when they will attend your problem. At last they gave their boss no. who is Praveen. He helped me in getting my account activated and that just in 1 day after all these 12 days heacdache. Thanks Praveen for that.
    4th is Den > They are now 1-2 years old in Broadband field and still no basic customer support planning.
    and last i want to mention i even did not get my free movie tickets. thats again was a fake promise.
    Anyways Jatin if you know some good internet providers in our block pl let me know. I am now interested in giving others a try until reliance jio arrives. I will think again for Den after some time now.

      I agree with your points. The sales team just wants to achieve their sales target without actually acknowledging the service update at all. Same happened with me. Online recharges are not credited to account immediately which is how you will expect it to work!

      I agree, Praveen is a fairly helpful guy. He helped me with my issues. But being an Area manager, he is also fairly limited about what he can do. It’s the team at granular level who needs to get their stuff right.

      I did got the movie tickets but not all. I have promised for 8 tickets with the 3 months subscription but I only got 4. I was too tired to fight with them over it so didn’t take that forward. Now I think I should have. They need to know what all stuff is going wrong for them as a company if DEN aspires to be a good ISP.

      I am also looking forward to great 4G LTE plans from Reliance Jio. Lets see how it works out. 😎

      Hello Hardik,

      I have had MTNL broadband for like forever (~8 years) and I have seen them taking more than half a decade just to move from 256kbps to 512kbps. The problem with MTNL is the plans are not so attractive and coupled with a poor support channel, it’s a bit disappointing. It’s sad that MTNL, being wholly owned by Government and having millions of customer, they just don’t see the opportunity to offer competitive plans and have a stronghold on market.

      Rest Den Boomband has been a mixed bag of experience as evident from this comment section. I will suggest you to explore more options in your neighbourhood and ask around to get the best deal. Despite all the rucus, I will rate DEN > MTNL as per my personal experience. Good luck mate.

      I am quite surprised coz after all tje negetive reviews i read from all over the net,i,was afraid too…..but i ask my neighbour, he said he didnt het any issues yet, and i called den…within 3 days all setup complete, everything working good…mashallah….

    Worst company ever to deal with. My internet stopped working 4 days back still there is no resolution to my problem. If you make complaint , your complaint gets auto closed within few hours and u will recieve a message stating ur problem has been resolved.

    Ppl do not get in den boomband. Its a den trap.

    Worst worst worst customer service. Even a supervisor would not make a documented complaint for wat you say. I just called back to know wat they have updated in my compliant and it was that speed was slow due work under process in area where i made complaint that internet not working ,had made complaint earlier but wirhout any resolution been given my complaint was closed with me recieving a msg resolution has been provided. Out of shock my this complaint was also close in 1.5 hrs.

    I have all call records and going forward to lodge a legal complaint, since my family is into legal dept.
    But guys believe me dnt even gv it a try. Not worth it. My registered no is 9899761011.

        Another pathetic experience!!! These guys are ridiculous .. Must say this company us going to vanish soon.. After being into connection problem for 20 days last month. This time they show another looter side . They are just looting and making fool of customers.

        I had got my connection activated in 4th sep 15. With the service of 3+1 month ie 4 months. Ihave it on papers but my internet connection was withdrawn on 2 dec night , thats not even completing 3 months. Last tym i left these bastards after their head of my area visited my place and assured for the best services. And if any problem in future he gave his contact no. And another hoax employee today asked me to complain on customer services.

        If senior authorities sitting there are keeping eye on this let me assure you this tym you are in a mess.

        Guys i am going legal, can see many people frustrated with this hoax company. Lets be together to just get this hoax and looter out of market.

    Plz just check Torbox with Tikona, Hathway, Pacenet any other ISP

    this is a kinda search engine that provide fast downloading if ur isp is member of this peering network. Your cconncetion speed doen’t matter you will get ~2mbps (~1 to 3mbps) even if you have 512 kbps connection . I used this website alot in Mumbai Idk it works in Delhi too. Not working with DD.

      The last time I checked, it’s illegal to download any copyright material off the internet, be it movies, songs, games etc. No genuine ISP should become a member of it if they want to avoid lawsuits.

        Point one, I don’t advertise or promote or beg by posting good and bad reviews about routers/ISP/any kind of services .
        Second , there wan not a second the internet history when download songs, movie was free . they are always copyright protected.
        My point was simple , I was just asking what is this thing and why ISP are not registered. I hope you understand how torrents work, ISPs are helpless to block torrents. I was just curious about torbox. You are talking as if you pay for every single thing download from internet. and that N00B word is cliched and trite, . Too much of legal mess there. Also, we do get a lot of free legal content online now. Ever heard about DRM content?

Guys this is a september month and all my CA friends know how crucial this timer period is. But all my request to the DEN BOOM BAND is in vain. They are not responding properly .     Unexplained excess data Usage:

    I got new Den Boomband connection (DEN-CA0006441) on 08.09.15. On 15th, I come to know that I have consumed 13 GB out of my 30 GB plan. In spite of repeated request for help to their technicians, customer care, no solution is provided. Now Today on 18.09.15 my account page shows that I have consumed 15 GB.
    In fact I have consumed maximum 5 Gb in a hope that have 30 GB for the month.
    I am using internet for last 16 years from all reputed service providers. This is estrange how Den operate.
    If they say you will get 30 GB – it means you will actually get maximum 7 GB in a month.
    Hope tomorrow my account page do not say that I have consumed all my 30 GB.

    My registered no. Is 8376943728. I booked a connection 5 days ago from your salesman Shakti singh (9136208205). I paid 3 months advance payment. But still I didn’t get my connection even they didn’t setup hardware. I have also complained to customer care but its totally waste of time that they always told me that today it will be done but nothing happens till now. No engineer visited my place. I also called sales person Shakti Singh several times for my connection but no one came. This type of service you give to ur customer??? I think I made a big mistake to trust on den.
    But if I will suffer than you will also….

    Worst customer service….. They took my money but didn’t install any hardware from last 5 days even called them several times.

    Worst Connection!

    I have Den broadband connection vide username DEN-CA0002755, I’ve paid around 2600 INR in advance for a better connection and service as per seeing your advertisement and as per your executive saying, But this is the worst network i’ve ever seen its been almost 2 months now and i’ve made more than 30 complaints. By the time this is installed WIFI is not working, and sometimes when WIFI work cable doesn’t, I have call’ed many times but no one bothers to take care and sometimes it takes more than 5 days for executive to come.

    I don’t want this worst connection anymore please take this cut-off asap. And refund my money back. Or i am forced to file a suite against this.

    Raj Kumar (9599909071) is the executive of DEN, who helped me to buy this worst connection and now he is not taking my call.

    This is my 11th email that I m sending you and I know like all other you will not reply or resolve my issue.

    My net stop working every night and I have raised this complain many times but there is no resolution provided by you guys. I cannot complain in day because my net works perfect in day and during night there is only one moron name Saurav verma available over the phone he don’t know anything except saying I have raise complain it will resolve in 5 hours its continuing from past 3 months no one came to visit or resolve this issue. I think you guys purposely doing this so that we as a customer will not use more Internet or GB. There is no supervisor available at night so every night I have to speak to that moron name Saurav. And after some argument he arranged call back from supervisor but nobody has called me yet

    Denboomband is the worst service provider the biggest fraud, cheater and service provider in Internet and broadband industry

    You people only need money after that who cares service is provided to customer or not. You only called or send sms asking for payment after that nobody is available except that moron Saurav verma who even don’t know how to speak with customers.

    I just want to say this will b my last month using you so called no service.

    If you can live with more than 72 hours of downtime then be happy to choose den boomband. Its not been more than 20 days of connection and I am facing this problem. The 100 Mbps wont work as you wont have any connectivity and the technical team will work from morning till evening and your connection will not be rectified even when they would give you a TAT of 5 hours. The technician will stop attending your calls as he has no idea what to do and after 6 pm he will start picking up ur call saying we are finished for the day and your problem will be resolved tomorrow morning positively and the same routine will start next day.

    The CC is the worst bit, they will droll out the routine words which they have memorised, they will start with english and finish up with hindi as they cant even form a sentence in english leave aside speak in english. The supervisor will always be busy and if you get to hackle the executive to transfer your call, then you can hold a call for even 1 hour.

    I have emailed their senior management but they seem to be least bothered, so if you want to get through this ordeal get DEN BOOMBAND for your home.

      Oh you took the 100mbps plan straight away? What was the setup? Was it via Co-axial wire only or optical fibre was used?

      How much speed did you see on the installation date? Was it full 100mbps?

    Friend the story that you put way back, is what I have been part of right now. And believe me your every single line is matching with my experience of this horrible ISP.

    They are fraud for sure.. coz except for Praveen, Lalit I dont think there is anyone at higher post and these two guys are also ass.oles. There customer care wow….. speak lilbit fast in english and they will start in hindi. and lies offcourse lies they do tell everytime.

    My friend I have been also watching an eye on internet at night and believe me they break connection purposley so that we cannot use torrents etc for huge downloads.

    I can give you inside details how they make money from this pathetic internet service .. coz my brother’s friend is doing the same. He is running an independent ISP firm and told me everything how they made money by fooling customers.

    We can discuss rest things on phon/call for brotherhood against these pigs. tell me you mailid so that i can give u my cel no.

      I can understand your frustration. I guess that all you gotta bear with the new players jumping in the game.

      And I really don’t think any company will go as bold as to break of connections on purpose. If you read the post, even I had a weird issue with my Internet connection going kaput everyday at ~9:45pm. Took me a while to get attention but still at the end, it was an issue with power supply.

      I don’t know how shady ISPs work but IMHO I don’t think Den boomband will try to fool a rather young and new user base.

    My whole society was filled with flyers and brochures and their sales person knocking every other day. Today also they had a big ad in the newspaper. Was going to try for demo bur seems that even demo won’t b worth it . Plan cancelled :-/ Will have to continue with Mtnl . bahut pareshaan kar raha h ye bhi

      Trying for a Demo ain’t bad I guess? Also depends on the locality you live in and their wiring quality in same area.

      Since this episode, last month, I hadn’t face any single downtime with DEN which is surprising. So, I would say ask for the review from people in your society and go for a demo. If Ping <10ms, you won't generally have much trouble. Cheers! 🙂

      Den goin very nice.. No connection drops ..sometimes connections seems to be a bit slow but that to once in a week and only fr like 15 mins or so ..except for that no problems with den m superhappy .. If they are offerin a demo. go for it .

    I am very dissapointed with the service provided by Den boom band, last month on 30th June 2015, I paid Rs 2,655 for three months plan to one of your agent Raju his mobile number is 9540129167. he assure me that the very next day the engineer will come an install the device, hoping that someone will turn up.. i waited and even did not go for work however nobody turn up i did not even relieve a phone call. On 2nd of July i called the Agent Raju, about the concern however he was very rude he said not to disturb him because its his off and to call the customer service, i a very rude manner, i called the customer service they told me that the engineer will come the next day , again no one turn up.. i waited and waited still no one turn up, i did not even receive any phone call, Lastly i gave up all hope and call the customer service to cancel the service, they told me that the request has been processed and the money will be refunded within 15 days, the customer service agent also told me that since the device has not been installed at all the money will be definitey refunded with 15 days.. after 15 days i call numerous times i had a word with Sonali, Mandeep, Manish and many more agent but they all are incapable . the only thing the Den Boomband representative know is to put the customer on hold and and just say the same thing that i will get the money within 24hrs. the surprising part was when i ask for supervisor or manager evreytime they use to say the supervisor are not available, or else they will only say supervisor will call back within 25 hrs, but no one use to call me. every time they would say a compliant has been mail, but nothing happens Its rely pathetic service. i am soo tired of calling the Den boom band customer service they are of no help. i am just asking my hard earn money back . why you people are not able to help me , today is 22nd of july still i did not receive my money and if i call the customer service again they will say those scripted word “i understand your concern, a complaint has been mail to the concern department ,will receive the refund amount within 24 hrs ” this is Heights. I am soo tired an disappointed , i regretted why i opted for your service.

      Hi Sunny, First of all, I am not associated with Den boomband, I am also just a customer like you. It’s very unfortunate you have to face these issues. Have you tried raising your problem via emailing them? I too faced a similar problem by agents (customer representative). As written in my review post there is a huge gap in sales and enablement team which is cancer for a new company like Den Boomband.

    I got a connection from Den boomband at 30/5/2015 and till 30/5/2015 not get solution of my problem. According to me it is one of the worst service provider on earth.I call customer service every day three times and get new complain number, i have at list 100 complain number but not get solution. I mail 10 times, after that on 1/7/2015 i request for refund but till 14/7/2015 not get any call or conformation about it. My user id is rajeevk_043 i paid 2530 for three month.

      Why don’t you call the Sales guy who sold you the connection and ask him to give you their nearest office address. Then go there and simply as them to solve your problem now or else you will be straight going to Police station and would be filing a FIR for Fraud against them.

      Come on Rajeev, we are consumers. We pay money for a service and if you are not getting the proper one, well yes Service provider IS ANSWERABLE! Just take a list of complaint number and the connection receipt with you to make them sure you will file a FIR if they don’t listen to you! 🙂

It has been more than a month and I haven’t recieved coupens and the connection is so damn awesome, that I feel like throwing the den box out ob street. Now i call them about the same but they seem to be very busy in their own. Cheaters

      I received coupons via email and sms. Why dont you register a compliant? I know its sad to get so many problems in early stage but you are a consumer. Just don’t have peace with it. Make some noise and rucus and complaint and drop mails. Surely someone will sort out the mess for you. Good luck!

    DEN boomband is a pathetic network. 4 days ago I got setup a 50 MBPS connection, but I get 5-10 MBPS speed which is also not stable. The customer care is useless. The complaint numbers they provide are invalid. I have filed multiple complaints and each time they tell that the previous complaint doesn’t exist (complaint# IK221785, IM217605).

    I went to their nearest office and they told me to talk to the technician and arrange a visit by myself!!! The technicians either don’t pick up the phone or do the troubleshooting on the phone.

      Hello Varun. Why don’t you write a mail at careboomband@denonline.in and put wecare@denonline.in in cc. DEN networks is the parent company. They surely would take it serious if their “new” subsidiary consumer is facing such problems. This should solve your problem.

      Also, it may be a signal issue, like it was for me as strength kept fluctuating or maybe installation was done incorrectly. 48/49 Mbps is understandable but 5-10 is pretty less provided you understand the difference between Mbps (Mega bits per sec) and MBps (Mega bytes per sec). So by rule of conversion 8 Mbps = 1 MBps (effective download speed). So 50 Mbps ~ 6MBps for you but downloading speeds will also depend on the source. So I am hoping to tried with speedtest.net. In that case, go ahead with the email.

      Let me know if it solves your problem. 🙂

      Check your mail man! Trust me, as I wrote in my review, Sales team is never in sync with Tech team for any major company. Sales people don’t care about customer, they are focused on selling more and more connections for their incentives, which sucks but sadly it’s true. 🙁

    Hey guys .. Update about den.. So after 2-3 complaints and 20-30 phone calls I got things installed yesterday i.e 28th june.. just after 6 days.. And its been 24hrs now and the connection hasnt dropped even once.. Speedtests show download speeds of over 22 -23 mbps and upload speed of like 2.7 mbps constantly.. only once speedtest showed 7mbps dwnlod speed. So atleast till now Den is going fine . will do anothr update if needed.

    Extremely pathertic Service.
    I applied for the connection on 2nd of June. Filled the form, gave the cheque. Was promised that the device will be installed on the next day on 3rd. Nothing happened, no calls. Called the sales executive, he kept disconnecting. Complained to the customer care was flat out told it will only be installed after or on 5th of June.
    Waited the whole day on 5th, no response!
    Lodged a complaint with the customer care was promised a response within next 5 hrs. Nothing happened again. No calls or visit.
    Kept complaining everyday for the next week, finally the cable guy comes on 15th!
    He came with no drill machine, nails, or cable ties. He just attached a cable from the nearest pole to the balcony and left, telling me I will have to get the cable inside the house myself then call them to get the modem installed.
    I had to call up an electrician to get the cable inside the house and take it till the place where modem would be installed. Called the technician, he told he would b there in 30 mins, he never showed up. Kept calling him, no response.
    Next day, lodged a complaint at customer care, again nothing happened, no calls or follow up.
    The technician comes on 16th with the modem at 9 PM!
    Again claiming he has no drill or nails. He kept the modem in a plastic bag and hung it on the curtain rod. Promising to have it fixed the first thing in the morning.
    No 1 came. The services did not start.
    Kept calling the technician and customer care with no use.
    They claim to provide demo of 7 days. I received one day of demo. After having to call the customer care and technicians repeatedly, at least 30-40 times.
    The demo got over in one day and after that the services have not started yet! Its 23rd June today.
    The sales guy does not respond the customer service is useless. My modem is still in a plastic bag, hanging from the curtain rod. I have called the related people at least a 100 times with no use. I have called every number I could find.
    My number is 9971073934. I would suggest you to not even consider getting the DEN Boomband. I have been frustrated since the last 20 days. Don’t buy DEN boomband you will have some peace in your life tht way.

    Ha ha ha..these fuking den Boomband people,,
    Same happnd with me..they do false commitments.. Internet stopped working..I called customer care. First they cnt find my account and after 5-6 complaints no body came…after 15 days it’s working and 5days later I got Cal from technical man saying TN t I had lodge a complaint ha ha ha..Damm…moreover At the time of connection they told me tht they will provide 512kbps unlimited I bought 3months page but after using 15gb but now it’s only128kbps… When I asked customer care they said ur plan has been changed to 128kbps…they make false commitments… When I asked where should I call to get resolution.. They said no.body can help u out..u have to make a top up recharge…. I AM SO DISAPPOINTED… I will not recommend it at all…I was thinking to but few more connections but now…never go with this..

    STRONGLY RECOMMENDED

    DONT BUY DENBOMBAND.. Don’t BUY AT ALL!!!!!!!!!

    Whoa! That’s exactly what happened with me. After paying the money to the sales executive no one visited for 10 days to my place for Installation. If I try to call the sales guy, he hang up the phone on me everytime. Will get rid of DEN boomband as soon as this month ends! 🙁
