Build your own PC – Killer rigs for any budget | 2018 | India

#PCMasterRace

Ahan! So are you in the market for a killer gaming PC or are you looking for an HTPC to take care of your multimedia needs or maybe you are looking for a basic setup for your loved ones? Well! Look no further. This post will take care of your requirements for any given budget. Before we dive in and get our hands dirty, let’s validate your purchase first $$

Why build a RIG yourself?

Because you can that’s why. In my last 15 years of exposure to computers, I have never bought an OEM (pre-assembled) PC. Although things are changing with new AIO (all-in-one) PCs but still one can not beat the sheer pleasure and bang of the buck you get by assembling your own PC. It gives you a sense of better ownership as you get to know each component individually working with others to give you the optimum experience as a whole. Also, it is easy to troubleshoot issues if any ever come up in your own built machine.

But consoles are better…

Build your own KILLER PC RIG for any budget | May 2016
Nailed it.

Ha! I won’t even disgrace this post by answering to that. The day you get the following, we may talk: Best graphics, sound, upgradeability, choice of control inputs, cheaper games, the ability to use the hardware to double as a productivity tool, 60+ FPS!, stereoscopic displays, massive resolutions, choice of aesthetics….

Yay! Let’s build one; What are the options?

Endless. Still, I managed to research the use-cases by discussing with my peers about the classification of the PC rigs they would like to see. After a lot of internet surfing. pondering over past experiences and stuff. We are going to build 6 types, take your pick:

  1. Basic Rig
  2. HTPC
  3. Entry-level Gaming
  4. Mid-range Gaming
  5. High-end Gaming
  6. Ultra-high-end Gaming
  7. Wayne Machine 😎

Note: I will assume you have a licensed Windows os or will be using *NIX for the rig, so only hardware cost will be accounted for below.

I was looking was some good gaming PC’s and shortlisted some out however I was not accounting for the monitor speakers keyboard and mouse right now. I just wanted to get good specs for my CPU so can you suggest any better builds than those that you have mentioned in the blog excluding monitor keyboard mouse and speakers? Also if you could include i7 8th Gen in the CPU that would be really helpful. Thanks in advance

    Hi, Jatin..
I was searching for a good gaming PC build and I came across ur BLOG….

Loved the manner in which you replied precisely to the queries.
Now to the point of me writing 🙂 hehe

I want a great gaming PC that i need not think to bother for the next 3-4 years at least. ( around 70k+ – budget)

If you could gimme the full specks for the CPU with suggestions on a keyboard and mouse too it would be great. I need a blue ray disk too so could that be included in the build too plzz..

I’am not a hard core gamer but I do love playing and when I do need it to perform well..

    thankx a ton in advance

    Cheers & Regards

Hey man, great article out there!

Just wanna ask few questions about the following rig:
    1>If anything is an overkill
2>If anything is bottlenecking the performance
The purpose i need this PC for is office work and not-so hardcore gaming

    Intel – Core i7-7700K

    CPU Cooler
Cooler Master – Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler

    Motherboard
Asus – PRIME Z270M-PLUS Micro ATX LGA1151 Motherboard

    Memory
    Corsair – Vengeance LPX 8GB (1 x 8GB) DDR4-2666 Memory

    Storage

      Hi Raghav,

Glad you liked it. You rig is fine except a few things:

      1. Under-powered PSU: A 350W PSU may not cut it or could be cutting it close. You have to understand that PSUs generally have an efficiency of ~80% output which may not be sufficient to power this rig. My recommendation is to go for a decent 450W PSU (Corsair VS450 is pretty good). Also, since you are buying a dedicated CPU cooler, I am assuming you will be overclocking your processor, so you anyway need a good PSU else it will crash the rig by undervolting your CPU which may lead to damaging the CPU internals.

      2. Lack of SSD: This. Believe me when I say this, this is the best upgrade you can have for you machine. There is a night and day difference in the performance when a machine’s OS is running on blazing fast SSD when compared to good’ol HDD. Try to squeeze in a 128 gig SSD (even this cost-effective WD Green 120GB SSD would do).

      3. +1 for the choice of Cabinet. I love Corsair Carbide Series 100R CC-9011075-WW! It’s simple, plain, minimalstic & badass!

Rest everything looks good. A nice cooler if you are planning to overclock that Core i7-7700K. GTX 1050 2GB should be enough for casual gaming too. Looks perfect for intended use anyway.

      Regards,
      Jatin K Malik

        Hey, Raghav and Jatin!

I came across this treasure a couple days back, while researching to build my rig. I want you guys to know this has been most helpful!

I’m making a rig similar to your purpose, Raghav. So when I saw your specs, I liked it instantly. I’m most thankful to you for your research and hard work.

I change my rigs after they’ve been completely sucked of their life force. This is what’s happening to my current machines and I need a capable system now. Keeping that in mind, I’m making it future-proof for 6 years, atleast.

Here I need your help, Jatin.

I’ve my specs ready (as follows), except a PSU and Cabinet.

        1. Cooling Fan — Cooler Master Hyper T4 RR-T4-18PK-R1
        2. Graphics — Asus Geforce GTX1050 Ti 4 GB Phoenix Fan
        3. HDD — WD Blue 1 TB Internal 7200 RPM
        4. Memory — Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 1*16 GB 3000 MHz
        5. Motherboard — Asus Prime Z270-A
        6. Optical Drive — LG 6x BD-RE/ 8x DVD+/- RW DL USB 2.0 – BP50NB40
        7. Processor — Intel – Core i7-7700K (7th)
        8. SSD — Samsung EVO 850 M.2 250 GB [incorporated your suggestion]

        Notes:

        1. The 450W Corsair PSU you recommended to Raghav, is it still the right answer, or do I upgrade?

        2. The Cabinet. I’ve no idea about it except I need an ATX. The airflow and dimension considerations are beyond me right now.

        Considerations/Doubts/Questions:

Inclusion of Optical Drive inside the Cabinet, yes/no? Heat dissipation a medium priority issue, considering there’s no air conditioning in room.

If inside the cabinet, would you upgrade the cooling fan to a water cooled system? Would that again beg us to us consider PSU compatibility? Or would you say a water cooled system is a necessary requirement anyway, for lack of AC? In any case, I don’t mind a bulky cabinet if it comes to that. My priority is longevity of components, i.e., ample ventilation inside.

    hey jatin,

Im one of the old school gamers who has played counterstrike 1.6 for most of his early young days with a few other high end games mostly FPSs, came across CS:GO recently and im up for it again. Been searching around for minimum requirements for the game and my laptop just doesnt make the cut for a 100-120+ fps requirement that i need.
I was juggling between the idea for a laptop and desktop and ive almost made up my mind for the desktop. Mainly because for the bang for buck is higher with a desktop and also the customisation is endless. Though the Dell 7657 did make me sway a bit towards the laptop side.
Anyways another reason i want to go towards the desktop is that i always wanted to build my own rig. I’ve done some preliminary research on the components that will make me play a few high end games other than CS:GO but also give me a 150 – 200fps CS:GO experience.

    Processor – Intel Core i5 7600k
(the new generation i5 has just launched with 6 cores. Should i wait, early reviews suggest the 8400 or the Ryzen 5 is a better bet than the 8600K, im not a overclocker but to have an option for the same feels safe. Why not i7 ? Read somewhere that the i5 has better single core perfomance than the i7.)

CPU Cooler – DeepCool CPU Liquid Cooler CAPTAIN 120 EX WHITE
(I’ll need a cooler which makes the minimum noise, since most probably this will be in my bedroom, it should be quiet enough to not wake up the missus. Do i really Need a cooler ?)

    Motherboard – Gigabyte GA-B250M-DS3H or ASUS Prime z270-p ?
(This is compatible with 7th gen but not sure about the 8th gen, what do u think about asus prime z270-p ?)

    RAM – Corsair 8GB DDR4 Vengeance LPX 2400Mhz

HDD – WD Blue Desktop 1TB Internal Hard Drive (WD10EZEX)

SSD – Will a ssd affect my gaming performance or will it just boot my computer/games early ?

Graphics Card – very confused about this, the geforce gtx 1080 is very tempting but the price point of 1060 6gb is attractive. I’ve my reservations about amd but im open to suggestions. Btw the geforce will be zotac, msi or strix, which one do you suggest ?

PSU – Corsair CP-9020098-UK VS Series VS650 650 Watt Power Supply Unit.
    Should i go higher ? Like 1000 ? or maybe a 450 is sufficient.

Optical Drive – LG GH24NSD1 Internal SATA DVD Writer

Keyboard + Mouse + Mouse pad – DragonWar Desert Eagle Gaming Keyboard GK-001 + Logitech G402 Hyperion Fury +
Dragonwar GP-001 Gaming Mouse Mat – Speed Edition (Black)
(I’m selecting these purely on reviews, so these three things are just best bang for buck i could find)

Monitor – BenQ Zowie XL2411 24-inch Full HD LED TV Monitor
(It has options for 120Hz and 144hz which is a thing now, apparently, as i figured from the comments everywhere and a few reviews.)

    Or
BenQ GW2470H 24-inch Full HD LED Monitor with 60hz

Cabinet – Corsair Carbide Series CC-9011050-WW Mid-Tower Steel Gaming Case with Red LED (Black)

What do you think ? The total cost on Amazon is coming to around Rs.96000/- How much less will this rig cost me at the local markets ? (I’m from mumbai currently in kolkata) and Most importantly, will all of this work together ?

    Hi
I want to build a system but my budget is max 60k. I need it for running high performance task and some VR components . So i picked core i5-7600k (intention to over clocking )but i am exceeding my budget. So can someone suggest me a way to get max performance yet under budget PC.
Someone suggested newegg.com as a site for computer components but it charges delivery and exercise duty and so the things come to square one.
In short I need some suggestions regarding :
    1) whether to go intel( high cost) or AMD
    2) Should i go for intel lower gen and have it overclocked and add graphic card and SSD or should i pick high end intel processor and go with no graphic card and SSD. What would be best thing to do and how?

    Thanks in advance

As for the UPS, A simple rule-of-thumb calculation can be used to determine how much UPS capacity is as follows:

          1.6 * Wattage Load = Minimum Volt-Amperes (VA)

Volt-Amperes are the standard measurement used to describe the capacity of UPS units.

Well, as per my opinion, 1080ti easily by a mile. SLI has terrible scaling in most stuff and is fiddly to work with. Also, SLI is not always supported in games. This is especially true when a game is first released, games rarely release optimized, let alone optimized for SLI, and those are AAA titles.

Battlefield 1 only recently got good SLI support, when before SLI would perform worse than a single card. And that game had been out for months when it finally got SLI support.

So, get 1080TI, I would advise you to steer clear of multi GPU if you can.

      Hey Ritwik,

Sorry for the delay in response. A lot of stuff going on in my personal life resulting in neglect of this blog. Need to fix it up. 🙂

Anyway coming back to the query, you have made a well-balanced rig. I don’t see any problem with this one. Good pick on that PSU too. +1 for CM MasterBox 5, just love that one.

As for the suggestion, please do share the full use case of this machine so I can judge it?

        Hi Jatin,

Thank You for your detailed replies. I will be going with gtx 1080ti itself as per your advice.
I am a professional freelance game programmer(a newbee though) and also a gamer(not a newbee there 🙂 ) hence machine will be used for primarily gaming purposes(preferably 4k), both developing and playing. Other than that the basic purposes of video watching, surfing etc. is always there.
Do you think the APC BX1100C-IN UPS will be suitable for this build?
Also do I need to upgrade the RAM in above spec to 32gb? Or is that overkill?

        Regards,
        Ritwik Mukherjee.

          Hey Ritwik,

Professional freelance game programmer! Cool! Hit me up on Twitter for a quick chat.

I think 1080TI should suffice for great 4K gaming for at least 2-3 years on Extreme setting. Video editing and all should be a breeze.

APC BX1100C-IN 1100VA is pretty decent, you can also checkout CYBER POWER UPS 1000VA. It is really popular in the states with great reviews.

32 GB RAM is overkill for now unless you are a lot into running multiple VMs at once.

          Regards,
          Jatin K Malik

    Hey Jatin,
Thank you for putting this up. I have been referencing your article on and off, but I am still confused on a few things. Would you please help me out?
I am looking to build a rig within 60k.
I have listed out the prospective parts below:
Processor: Intel Core i5 7600 or 7600k (confused between the two)
    Motherboard: Gigabyte H170M-3DH – DDR4 6th Gen
RAM: Corsair Vengeance DDR3 8 gb (should i go for ddr4? Any other ones you recommend?)
GPU: Palit Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050Ti Storm X 4 GB
Monitor: Dell E191 HV 18.5-inch LED Monitor
Which hdd should i buy? Should i get a ssd?

I am a newb and got the above specs after asking someone.
Am i missing something? What do you recommend?
I would like to play the likes of Witcher 3 on high preferably at around 60 fps. Is that achievable within 60k?
How much better is the Nvidia 1060 6gb in comparison to the 1050 ti? Is it justifiable as the 1060 costs around double.
    Please help!!

basically “K” denotes for overclocking. so if u go for k series CPU than choose motherboard also which support the same i.e. Z170 series.
For Hard drive i suggest you that use one 120 GB SSD for OS along with 1 TB HDD (any brand having 7200 RPM).
one more thing i suggest you that go for Full HD Monitor, if u wish to go with dell than Dell S2216H.

    In the High End Rig
You GPU is being bottlenecked by the monitor. The build right above has the same monitor and now with all the things upgraded you are still keeping the same monitor. GTX 1070 can easily output Ultra at 100fps in QHD in AAA games. In the current case the monitor is able to output only 1080p and at 60fps.

Good eye Rony! It’s a mistake. It slipped through from mid-range rig. Blame the excel. 😀

I added a 4K monitor but with a 60Hz refresh rate, as IMHO it would be more VFM and future proof as 60fps on V-Sync is really amazing and quite a few games can make a difference in gamer’s performance over that framerate.

What do you think? Adding a ROG 1440P 144Hz monitor will blow up the cost of the rig. No?

To install the optical drive, you’ll need to remove the entire front of the case for a moment, pop out the 5.25-inch faceplate, and then put the case’s front back on again. Then, simply slide in your optical drive and screw it into holes on either side of the drive cage.

This looks cool, but is the TV 1080P? Also, does it have a good response time?

IMHO TVs are usually not suited for heavy gaming and maybe you should look forward to getting a decent gaming monitor for that rig.

First thing first. there is no pc build that can be future proof.
sure you can plan for little bit expansions .. average life of any build can be around 5 years. can be stretched to another 2 years if pre planned. but no matter what you have to upgrade to a new rig.

That being said. right off the bat few things i noticed which are not a good combination.

1 ) your PSU is 600 W, but your UPS is 1000 Va i.e. 500 W. which is 100 Watts short of entire PSU capacity.
      2) your motherboard is not at all expandable. you should switch your motherboard with more PCI, memory slots. plus you dont need 4K support in your motherboard.
Now as for your question to reduce cost. you can switch your CPU to i3 or amd. for around 8K
can switch to AS rock motherboard for around 6K-7K
and why the hell you need Rx 480 which is top end Raedon. If you insist on youing this GPU then you better upgrade your memory to atleast 16GB and change motherboard accordingly to take full use of this GPU, followed by your PSU should be upped to at least 700W and a UPS to match.

Want to tell about #5- the gtx 1070 supports 4k and you have recommended a 1080p monitor…either choose a 4k monitor but it will cost a more…so instead of gtx 1070…go for gtx 1060, its good for 1080p and the monitor given in the spec. But 1070 is future proof

Future proof was the reason as #5 is the High-end RIG. Updating monitor is cheap, GPU is not. Though, still you are quite right. GTX 1060 should do the job here.

No I meant the prices in general. For example i7 6700k is 25000 in stores near me (chennai) but is still around 30k mark in amazon and gtx 1080 is around 55k range.
But I couldn’t find any corsair 2×8 gb for less than 9000 ?

I am looking to build a Desktop for me and here are my requirements…
    1. I am a software developer so would using for development on Visual Studio 2015 and SQL server.
    2. Don’t intend to play any high end games.
    3. Would be doing all usual stuff like browsing, music, movies, MS office etc.
    4. Need a configuration that solves my above requirements for about 4-5 years and is workable on future windows updates till then.

    Here is my initial configuration….
    1. Processor: Core I5 6500/6600
    2. RAM: Hyperfury 8GB DDR4
    3. Mobo: Gigabyte GA B150M D3H
    4. SSD: Samsung 250GB 750 evo SSD

    6. DVD writer: ASUS DRW 24D5MT
    7. PSU: Antec VP550P 550W
    8. Cabinet: Cooler Master Elite 311

Kindly review and advise if it looks good to you. I am flexible in budget and looking for a value for money specs that is relevant for a good 4-5 years.

I had query about the mobo and ram you’ve suggstd. In amazon description MSI H170 M3 mobo show DDR4 2133 support but you have suggstd DDR4 2400 RAM. Will that work without any significant loss in performance.?
And regarding GPU, I was thinking about Asus ROG strix 1060GTX OC 6gb. What do u think ?

I am planning on making a gaming rig with config matching to the budget of the mid range rig (no.4) that you have suggested. However, I have no need for a monitor, keyboard, mouse, external speaker and optical drive, mainly because I am goin to connect the cpu to my led tv. I am however, looking to updrade to an i7 if possible. With my budget of say around 75k, what configuration would you suggest? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You will get stuttering in a lot of games and lag during browsing although the lag won’t be much. I would highly recommend getting an AMD Athlon X4 860K instead or if you can, wait a little for the budget AMD Zen CPU which can be expected to release around Q1-Q2 2017

When you get the processor I’m guessing you’ll be using 8GB of RAM (DDR4 for the G4400 and the i3 6100). Be sure to buy 4GBx2 RAM kit. Do not buy 8GBx1 as it would be very laggy compared to the 4GB x2

      Hi Aniket,

It is tough to judge without knowing your purpose/usage of the machine? I will personally go for the AMD build just because of better silicon than age-old Intel i5-560m which is a mobility processor, released in Q3, 2010 and is no longer supported by Intel. AMD A8 7600K is also a Q4, 2013 chipset.

Comparatively, A8 7600K is better than i5 560m but both sucks as we are in 2016 mate. I will always suggest you go for the latest current year hardware if you look forward to enjoying a decent shelf life of the components. My suggestion would be to go for NONE and build your PC instead for same budget.

      Hi Rajiv,

Your configuration looks kind of cool! Good job buddy.

As for the confusion between i5 6400 + GTX 1070 and i5 6600k + GTX 1060, I will suggest you to go for Intel i5 6600K + GTX 1060 because of the following reasons:

#1. There is a considerable difference in performance of Intel i5 6600K and i5 6400. The processor is one of the most important parts of a PC outside the realm of gaming too. I will suggest you get the best chip your budget allows.

#2. As I can see you have picked BenQ RL2240HE for the rig which is a 1080P monitor. GTX 1070 is overkill for this as it is a 1440P card. GTX 1060 will allow you to play everything on extreme on 1080P. So, unless you are planning to invest in a 2K monitor soon, I don’t see value in splurging extra moolah for that GPU powah you won’t be able to harness anyway.

#3. Also, this is a transitioning period: DX12 is coming out, VR is becoming a thing, all enthusiasts are upping their gaming res and NV/AMD are transitioning to a new lithography node. That means it’s not the best time to be buying a card with the intention of keeping it for 4+ years. Probably the next gen will be when they will have ironed out both real world DX performance and this new manufacturing process. Just think about what Nvidia was able to pull in both power and efficiency with Maxwell by optimizing their architecture to the already 3 years old 28nm manufacturing process.
      That’s why I’m saying 1060 and not 1070.

      Hi Arjun,

I really don’t think I can help you in upgrading this age-old rig to anything respectful. I understand the sentiment as even I still have my beloved Pentium 4 rig which I got in 2006 (nostalgia). I will suggest you to install some flavour of Linux in that baby for personal learning or maybe put Windows XP in it and give it to someone who would like to learn about computers. That should be the best utilization of that machine.

For basic gaming with a budget of ₹30,000, I will suggest you to go with this rig I suggested to Mainak below. Should work pretty well for you. 🙂

      Cheers,

      Depends on two things
      1. Will you Overclock your CPU?
      2. What resolution monitor and what what refresh rate monitor are you using?

Both of those point towards getting an unlocked CPU and you have a 1080p 60hz monitor. Nothing better than a GTX 1060/ RX 480 could help you. Get the i5- 6600K and a liquid cooler, preferably a Corsair H60 or above.

By seeing your build, may I ask if you’re buying a 1080p monitor or 1440p monitor?? I would recommend a Corsair case with a CX650M for OC capability. And the cooler, well the Seidon reviews I read were not that positive, and I’d recommend a Corsair H60 with an Arctic Silver 5 Thermal Compound. If you tell me a proper maximum amount in your budget, then I could get you a configuration within an hour

But my current build is already 65,000 php but I can still manage it.
And I’m still searching for a good monitor with a lower price

Have included where thing other than keyboard mouse and speakers because they are personal choices. The 65000 php configuration is without these 3 parts. If you’re wondering, monitor is included but I can’t find the Arctic Silver 5 Thermal Compound so I have included the Deepcool Z9 its not as good as the Silver 5 but it’s competitively fine

I don’t actually see much difference other than looks but there’s a little hardware difference

The Gaming 5 has a Killer E2200 LAN chip which is much better than Intel’s chip in the Ultra.

The Gaming 5 has a RealTek ALC1150 audio chip which is better than the ALC892 on the Ultra.

The Gaming 5 has 2 M.2 connectors and 0 U.2 but the Ultra has 1 each.

Personally, I just think that the Gaming 5 is better than the Ultra.

Also, if you plan to go for an ASUS motherboard then go for the Z170 Pro gaming not the Z170i because it’ll be an ITX motherboard which is extremely small and is used in PCs which are constantly being moved around.

There’s many websites which have power supply calculators. Just search Google for power supply calculator and you will get multiple websites. You will have to enter all data (as in CPU, GPU, no. of fans etc). A calculation will be shown. I use the calculator on the MSI website
                      Here’s the link: https://www.msi.com/power-supply-calculator

Whatever the calculation is, I choose an appropriate PSU, preferably Bronze/Gold. And again, efficiency matters and you shouldn’t buy a big PSU if the Wattage is much less (650W instead of 550W) because more Wattage wastage=heat production = bad performance

    Hi,
Just wanted a little advice, I am doing up my office PCs after 10 years (literally), they are all running Mac minis with windows 7 and still going strong .
Due to the 10-year threshold I have decided on the replacement as follows :
    1. I3-6100 – 8250
    2. B150 vs. H170(I’m too confused)
    3. Circle LIL cabinet with the PSU – 2085 in-built PSU is 400W
    4. 250GB Hynix SL308 SSD – 65$
    5. 4-8GB RAM – 2850 (8GB)

    My question:
    1. B150 or H170? Or H110?
    2. 4GB or 8 GB?
    3. Is the PSU any good ?

The PC is literally going to be used by dinosaurs, I mean they barely do anything on it apart from a little accounting and downloading behind my back. Computer is going to be kept in one place all its life 😉

    Any suggestions are much appreciated.

    Thanks

i5 6600K with a Z170 motherboard and nice cooler for OC, don’t get AMD because it’s a power eater and is inefficient. Get a good quality PSU for OC. And 16GB RAM. Motherboard – Any Gigabyte or Asus Z170, PSU – Corsair/Cooler Master. CPU cooling – I choose Corsair

I would just like to ask, what can you recommend for a gaming rig which is worth 50-65k using Intel core i7 4790k or 6700k?
    (Whole CPU including the case)
And also wish to use a wifi embed mother board.
    And atleast 16gb ram.
I do prefer brands like gigabyte, asus, and corsair
And please do recommend other brands as you wish

    Thanks a lot in advance!

I’m probably not the person you were trying to contact because I’m not an admin. Anyway, I just have 1 advice for you, if you’re looking for a 65K build, I heavily recommend getting an i5 because if you get an I7, you will have to sacrifice huge on your graphics card. Let me know if you would like to build an i5 PC under 65K because then you can have much better graphics performance and I’m assuming that you’re looking for a gaming PC, and for that you need lot of graphics and for that a better graphics card which could only fit your budget if you downgrade your CPU, which won’t cause any bottlenecking and will run completely fine.

I’d go for the G1 gaming by gigabyte with the i5 , a 250 GB SSD with a 2TB HDD(WD red) . A corsair spec 01/02/03 case . 16GB hyper X RAM . And a hyper evo 212 CPU cooler at least(you could get a better one too). Those should probably be your bare minimum . Adding on to that would be a 1070 Zotac amp edition card or a 1060 card. Bear in mind that the output matters too, if you put a 1070 and use a 1366×768 screen then well :/ you wasted money ,but if you want the highest frame rates at 1080p then the 1070 would do good. Hope I was of some help 😉

              For 1080p 60fps, a GTX 1060 or an RX 480 will do. But if you’re having a 1080p 144hz monitor or QHD (2560×1440) monitor, get a 1070.

As Tushar mentioned below, MSI H170 comes with an onboard sound card which is pretty decent IMHO. You don’t need to go for a separate dedicated sound card unless you are using studio grade equipment for records and stuff.

Here’s little something about the onboard sound chip on MSI H170:

it’s good but get a bigger SSD and a better case (Cooler Master/Corsair mid tower). if you’re buying a mid tower case, get an ATX motherboard. if you’re buying a full tower one, try E-ATX + X99 chipset. You can also opt for liquid cooling (way better than air cooling for OC which affects performance). Make sure to buy the MSi Gaming X version of the 1060. Get a PSU which has an 80+ Bronze rating (Corsair CX600 is good). Also, go for an ASUS DVD Writer if possible, LG’s writer doesn’t seem to last much. When you’re buying a monitor, look for an ips panel not a TN panel because the color in ips panel is much better than TN and you won’t notice much display lag without the TN. You’re a gamer, you need a good mouse and keyboard, look for a SteelSeries/Razer keyboard and mouse (My favorite is Razer Deathadder Classic/Mamba Tournament edition + Razer Blackwidow Ultimate/Chroma. But the keybaord and mouse are a personal opinion since they need you to feel good in hands. About the RAM, look for a RAM with higher clock speeds (preferably 2666 – 3200mhz) and lower latency (14 or 15). Note that high clock speed + low latency is a plus while high latency is not a plus.

These are just tips on building a better pc. The final call is always up to you. 🙂 Feel free to ask anything about builds.

      Hi Suman,

The September update was due, I have updated and added the latest configuration as per my local computer market survey. Please check the updated rigs above.

As for your rig, everything looks pretty good except the GPU. If you can, wait out of GTX 1050 which should be an excellent replacement for GTX 950/750 Ti.

Also, I would strongly recommend you to go for an SSD in your build. An OS booting from an SSD has a night and day difference on your machine’s performance.

      Cheers,
      Jatin

Hello Jatin, You have provided the best pc configurations for every budget that’s a great job. I’m building my very first home pc under rs55000/- but planning to upgrade it every 6months. So decided one time investment in 24inch led monitor for long run and Windows 10 os would be fine. After calculating my budget I have around 30k to invest in every thing else. Could you please suggest me the configuration with upgradable components. And I’m quite sure you’ll make me proud on my first assembled pc. Thankyou in advance and waiting for reply.

      Hi Dinesh,

What is the primary usecase here? As I can see, you have a budget of ₹30K for the CPU.

If the requirement is of general usage, you can checkout my #1. Basic rig config for the CPU and throw in a Kingston 120GB SUV400S37 : ₹3,050.00 to increase performance.

Let me know your detailed requirements, so that I can fix you up with the best rig you can buy.

      Hi Mainak,

Here is my best attempt for a respectable configuration under ₹35K:

      1. Processor – Intel Core i3-6100 : ₹9,399.00
      2. Motherboard – MSI H170 Gaming M3 : ₹11,900.00
      3. RAM – Kingston HyperX Fury 2133 MHz DDR4 HX421C14FB/8GB : ₹2,950.00
      4. GPU – Not required, if you are not going to do gaming. i3 6100 packs integerated HD Graphics 530 which should be sufficient for day-to-day tasks. If this is a mandatory requirement, let me know? But keep that in mind, a gfx card worth ₹3k is just not worth it.
      5. SSD – Kingston 120GB SUV400S37 : ₹3,050.00
      6. PSU – Corsair VS Series VS450 : ₹3,299.00
      7. DVD Writer – LG GH24NSD1 Internal SATA DVD Writer : ₹949.00
      8. Cabinet – Antec VSK-4000-U3 – ₹2,600.00

      Total = ₹34,147.00

      Upgrade recommendation:
      • I strongly recommend Intel Core i5 6500 : ₹16,399.00 if you can increase your budget.
      • I have included a full ATX mobo (hence most expensive part of config) so as too keep the build flexible to updgrade later, if needed. Else, if that’s not a requirement, to save cost you can go for a mATX mobo – Gigabyte GA-H110M-S2 : ₹4,850.00
      • I have included SSD because it makes a hell of a difference in your machine’s performance. I will highly recommend you to not skip it and later buy a supplementry HDD like WD 1TB Blue HDD (WD10EZEX) : ₹3,631.00 if you don’t already own an external portable HDD.

This should sum up your rig. Let me know if you need any help.

      Cheers,

      Hi Aman,

If it was up to me, I will go with Asus Z170 Pro Gaming hands down.

One of my friends is using this beastly mobo with an i7 6700k overclocked to 4.6Ghz paired with 32GB of G.skill DDR4 3200Mhz RAM. It runs buttery smooth, like a dream with absolutely no issues at all.

Some of the advantages over other options:
      • More USB ports (trust me, there is no such thing as enough ports)
      • Gaming Pro has a better sound chip on board – SupremeFX audio, the best onboard DAC you can get.
      • Slim board with a better QC compared to GB variants.
      • Easy to overclock
      • Red-Black accent with breathing light looks pretty rad.

If budget isn’t a constraint, Asus Z170 Pro gaming offers the best bang for the buck.

      Good luck!

      Cheers,
      Jatin

p.s: Just a side note, if you are going to install Windows 7 on your rig, you should know that Z170s don’t support the EHCI used by Win7 (USB2 spec). Here is the workaround for the same, although I highly recommend Windows 10! 😎

To be honest, I will stick with Asus Z170 Gaming Pro here as my experience with MSI has not been anywhere good. I have had received 2 MSI mobo and 1 MSI GPU DOA(dead on arrival). I believe Asus has a better QC (quality control) than MSI.

A quick google search “MSI QC” will get you a lot of horror stories.

Anyway, back to the topic, I really don’t see any extra value in spending extra ₹3,000 on MSI Z170A Gaming M5 unless you are really going to use that extra M2 port for NVMe storage. Are you? 😉

I am not sure how motherboard will dictate performance for your basic 3D work? You seem to be mistaken about how it all works. In real world, your CPU + RAM + Storage medium decides the performance of your machine.

I recently build my rig with jatin’s advice.
I also use my pc for 3d works and for graphics work..
For Maya and max u should consider getting a gpu that isn’t cheap. As the rendering process depends highly on graphics card and on RAM. 8-16gb RAM is enough. U should consider getting a i5 processor rather than i3. Although the i3 will get the job done. But with i5 ur machine will not hang when doing heavy poly work in Maya.

I feel 28K may be a bit less for the requirements you have. Sure, we can build a CPU in that budget but a component or two may be a bottleneck if you are heavily into 3DS MAX, Maya, Photoshop alike intensive tools.

          Hi Pooja,

Assuming office use with some casual multimedia usage under ₹30k, I will suggest the following config:

          1. Intel NUC Kit NUC5PPYH – ₹12,390.00
          2. Kingston 8 GB RAM 1600MHZ – KVR16LS118 – ₹2,650.00
          3. Kingston UV300 SSD – 240GB – ₹4,593.00
          5. Logitech MK220 Wireless Keyboard and Mouse Combo – ₹1,190.00
          6. Acer P166HQL 15.6-inch LED Monitor – ₹4,499.00

          Optional:
          1. Creative SBS A-120 2.1 Multimedia Speaker System – ₹1,680.00

This should make you a great NUC PC for about ₹25,000.00 which should be powerful enough to run latest Windows 10 OS with plenty of RAM and lighting fast storage (great bootup times). I will strongly recommend you to go for SSD only as it does have a night and day difference on your PC performance.

Well, yes you can use them but most of the times it isn’t worth going for that setup. I will suggest you to read this excellent piece by Lifehacker for more information.

        Hi John,
U can use them but using two gpu will not increase ur VRAM. It will just increase the gpu performance slightly. Plus you have to buy two gpu of exact same model for this to work. Otherwise the cpu will only use the gpu that has low vram and will give the performance of the gpu having low vram.
Its better to get a single gpu with more VRAM.

You will need to upgrade your ram to at least 8 GB. Buy 2x Corsair Vengeance 4GB – ₹1,870

Also buy a better graphic card. Anything over GTX 750Ti Boost ~ ₹9,500 can handle 1080p at Low-Medium gfx settings. For max 1080p experience, I would suggest you to wait for RX 480/470 or GTX 1060 to get mainstreamly available in India.

You can go for WD 1TB Blue Internal HDD – WD10EZEX – ₹3,704.00, it should be sufficient when used in parallel with 500 GB one.

Amd hasn’t updated its consumer cpu’s for years, and putting money on any am platform now would be a waste with zen cpu’s so close to launching and no upgrade path to their current processors. Better look into intel’s i5 for your intended usage but finding a good gpu with a high end monitor is gonna be hard.

If it is for the whole rig AMD Black Edition A10-Series APU Processors with Radeon R7 Graphics (A10-7860K-AD786KYBJCSBX) – ₹11,499 would be perfect

I usually prefer Amazon due to their quicky delivery and top notch customer support. If something isn’t available there or the price difference is huge, my second choice is Flipkart.

For best deals, also make sure to check in the famous computer peripheral market in your locality/state. I usually look around in Wazirpur Computer Market or Nehru place (Delhi) when going for a new rig.

For just small components, though, I prefer to avoid mad traffic rush and save fuel, thus I order online only.

          Hi Sourav,

I will suggest you to wait of GTX 1050 or RX 470 to release in India which should cost you in a ballpark of ~ ₹14-15k similar to GTX 960 current price with the significant boost in performance. For now, I will skip the GPU as suggesting GTX 750 Ti is simply not future proof IMHO.

Yes! SSD does improve your PC boot time and general response significantly as every OS method is processed almost instantly. I have recommended a 120 GB SSD below in which you should install your OS + Browser + Office suite + Other important software which you use daily. My Gaming rig (Windows 10) boots under 7 seconds. It is just magical! 😎

I have built the following rig in such a way that most of the components are future proof and you can easily extend it’s potential in future with minimal cost overhead:

          1. Intel Core i5 6400 – ₹14,375.00
          2. Gigabyte GA-H110M-S2 – ₹4,700.00
          3. Kingston HyperX Fury Black 8GB DDR4 2133 MHz – ₹2,800.00
          4. Kingston UV300 SSD – 120GB – ₹3,049.00
          5. WD 1TB Blue Internal HDD – WD10EZEX – ₹3,740.00
          6. Corsair VS650* – ₹4,389.00
          7. Cooler Master Force 500 – ₹3,499.00

          Total – ₹36,552.00

I know, it is over your budget and without GPU. But honestly, if I try to sneak in a GPU, it will bottleneck the CPU performance and will not be a future proof machine. This is my best suggestion since you are building a CPU from scratch. This will enable you to update hardware once in 3 years with minimal cost as Intel i5 6400 is the most bang for buck Skylake processor here which comes with Integrated Intel HD 530 GPU which should be sufficient in playing media up to 4K resolution, some light gaming and is a champ in running graphical intensive programs like Photoshop, Premier Pro etc.

Buying a sub 10k card like GTX 750 Ti would be a popular suggestion you will get from everyone but this card will be obsolete in 1 year tops. My suggestion would be to get the above config and get a better 1080P card which should max out all the games for at least next 2 years thus having a lifespan of ~5 years with reduced performance.

*Also, this is the sole reason I have included a 650 Watt PSU in #6 above, so as to enable you to upgrade hardware later with minimal overhead. Else a simple Cooler Master 500 Watt PSU would be just fine for the config above too.

Let me know if you have any questions. If you still want a quick fix here with a GPU for now, I can build you another config for ₹35K with i3 + H110M + GTX 750 Ti.

I hope you get the point!

            Hey bro,

Thank u for the wonderful advice. I will try to stick to it. Keeping points 1-5 intact, if i go for a less priced 6,7 now and change that later when i go for a GPU (which is not going to be soon i guess 😛 ) will that cause any problem now?? And one more thing is the suggested motherboard future proof too ?? 😀 😀

Initially i was sceptical about the i5 and thinking of i3 but after reading your suggestion, i am definitely going for i5. \m/

And i did get the point! 😛 😀

              Hi Sourav,

              Thanks! 🙂

Well you can go for the cheaper 500W alternative I suggested, but I really don’t see the point of saving ₹700-800 if you are going to buy it later anyway. Investing in a quality PSU should be a top priority as if you don’t provide sufficient power to the components, it can result in low performance and maybe even damage your motherboard due to overload.

As for the future-proofing of the mobo, you tell me:

              Gigabyte GA-H110M-S2

              • CPU Support : Intel 6th Generation Core Processors
              • Cpu Socket LGA 1151
              • Chipset Intel H110 Chipset
              • Graphics Interface : 1*PCIe 3.0 x16
              • Display Interface : D-SUB
              • Memory Type : 2 Channel DDR4
              • Memory DIMMs: 2*DDR4;
              • Expansion Slots:2*PCIe 2.0 x1
              • SATA connectors : 4*SATA 3
              • USB : 4*USB 3.0 + 6*USB 2.0
              • Audio/LAN : 8-Channel HD/Realtek GbE LAN

This is the most value for money mobo in this range.

Go for the rig, you won’t be disappointed. Invest in a GTX 1060 or RX 470 (as per your budget) in near future when it gets widely available and you will have the best 1080P gaming rig!

      Hi Nitin,

Not sure about your usage though but assuming office use with some casual multimedia usage under ₹20k, I will suggest the following config:

      1. Intel NUC Kit NUC5PPYH – ₹12,390.00
      2. Kingston 8 GB RAM 1600MHZ – KVR16LS118 – ₹2,670.00
      3. Kingston UV300 SSD – 240GB – ₹4650.00

This should make you a great NUC PC for about ₹19710.00 which should be powerful enough to run latest OS with plenty of RAM and lighting fast storage (great bootup times). I will strongly recommend you to go for SSD only as it does have a night and day difference on your PC performance.

Protip: Throw in a Logitech MK220 Wireless Keyboard and Mouse Combo – ₹1,190.00 and your workspace will be neat and super productive. 😎

      Hi Robin,

Sorry for the delay in reply as I was out of the station.

₹70k is a pretty cool budget for high-end 1080p gaming. I myself built a personal rig for about a similar budget.

For MOBO, if you are going for i5 6600k (Skylake), Any z170 gaming motherboard should be compatible but my personal preference would be Asus Z170 Pro Gaming – LGA1151 – ₹15,190. It’s like a holy grail at this price tag.

For GPU, GTX960 is a perfect choice.

For RAM, if you go for the Asus Z170 mobo above, you can go for Corsair Vengeance LPX 4GB DDR4 2400Mhz (PC4-19200) – 2x ₹1,999 which should be blazing fast to load those GTA V levels in memory.

For Cabinet, you can go for either Cooler Master Force 500 (FOR-500-KKN1) – ₹3,700 or Circle Gaming Cabinet CC 821 – ₹3,650 if you want something fancy.

For HDD/SDD, it is purely optional but strongly recommended that you go for an SSD+HDD combo as you can install your OS in SSD and use HDD for all other installation purposes. This will dramatically increase your PC’s boot up and response time. My recommendation would be Kingston UV300 SSD – 120GB – ₹2,900 + Western Digital Blue WD20EZRZ Internal HDD – 2TB – ₹5,800

For PSU, Corsair VS650 – ₹4,390 should suffice perfectly, however if you want something heavy duty and future proof, Antec VP650P – ₹5,300 is a no brainer.

For Keyboard/Mouse, CM storm Devastator is a good choice however, you can also go for a simple mechanical keyboard along with Logitech G402 Hyperion Fury Ultra Fast FPS Gaming Mouse – ₹2,490. G402 is hands down the best gaming mouse I have ever used. It is super fluid and glides like a dream. It has 4 DPI level and ergonomically built like a tank. I personally find it better VFM as compared to Mouse bundled in CM storm Devastator.

For Display, gotta say that BenQ RL2240HE – ₹9,990 nails it with it’s fast 1ms GTG response time. It is tailor made for gaming. This is a Full HD (1080p) monitor, there is no point of going for a 1440P as GTX 960 will only be good for FHD gaming.

For Speakers, you can go for any F&D or Creative 2.1 system for under ₹2,000. They are pretty standard and will serve you well.

Here you go! I guess this pretty much sums up your killer rig. Let me know your final built!

Well, there isn’t much of a difference in Amazon’s pricing and MDcomputer’s one. I will prefer buying from a well-established e-commerce player with better logistic and a great customer support network than a Kolkatta-based shop with an online presence.

Hey bro. I am planning to build a pc which I wl use for both gaming and multimedia work. I am planning to make a 3 set up display.
The components I have selected are:
    Intel i7 6700k
    Msi GTX 1070 8gb ddr5
    G-skill 2 x 8 gb ddr4 RAM
    120gb SSD
    Approx 600-700w psu
    And corsair 400c cabinet.
Plz suggest me a good ATX motherboard, PSU , a decent CPU cooler and some extra fans for the cabinet.
If u have any other suggestion for cabinet then plz tell me.
Also give me an estimate for this whole built.
I don’t need HDD, Monitor, keybord, mouse , speaker. I have that already from my previous build.
My budget is 1lakh for this build. And I can spend 10k more if necessary. ?

      Hi Sagnik,

Sorry for the delay in reply as I was out of the station. 🙁

You have managed to assemble a pretty cool rig yourself 😎

      MOBO

If you are going for i7 6700k (Skylake), Any z170 gaming motherboard should be compatible but my personal preference would be Asus Z170 Pro Gaming ATX – LGA1151 – ₹15,190. It’s like a holy grail at this price tag, most VFM gaming mobo for Skylake gen processor.

      Cooler

My personal favorite cooler is Cooler Master Hyper TX3 – ₹3,296. If you are in for Liquid cooling, an entry level – Corsair Hydro Series H60 CPU Cooler (CWCH60) – ₹4,900 should serve the purpose well.

      GPU

GTX 1070 is a beast choice but presently the Indian pricing by NVIDIA is really messed up. MSI one is currently priced around ₹42,000 which is insane considering you will be paying a markup of ₹12,000 on it’s direct USD conversion rate ($450 ~ ₹30,215). My advice will be to wait out of custom GTX 1070 to hit the market as the architecture has been released to NVIDIA’s OEM partners.

      RAM

If you go for the Asus Z170 mobo above, you can go for Corsair Vengeance 8GB DDR3 Memory Kit (CMZ8GX3M1A1600C10) – 2x ₹2,900 which should be blazing fast to load those GTA V levels in memory with that DDR4 architecture else even G.SKILL Ripjaws V Series 8GB 288-Pin DDR4 – 2x ₹2,749 should be a great option.

      PSU

Corsair VS650 – ₹4,390 should suffice perfectly, however if you want something heavy duty and future proof, Antec VP650P – ₹5,300 is a no brainer.

      SSD

My recommendation would be Kingston UV300 SSD – 120GB – ₹2,900. 120GB should suffice for any latest OS installation with basic necessary softwares.

      Cabinet

Corsair 400cc cabinet is a great option for Mid-tower option. Though, make sure you do a quick quality check before buying this one as the initial batch had some concerns with the front panel and bottom shrouds being too flimsy. Also, if you do purchase this case, make sure you have the right combination of components. If you plan on using mechanical hard drives, make sure you have a fully modular power supply, because with the mechanical hard drive case installed, there is very little room to store the power supply cables. If you don’t have a fully modular power supply, you should only be using SSDs so that you can remove the mechanical hard drive cage.

An alternative option would be to check for Corsair Obsidian 750D Black ATX Full Tower – ₹15,999.00. This is one future proof cabinet with option of extending it with full blown Liquid cooling setup, if needed in future.

      Summing up!

Tada! I guess this should fit in your budget of ₹1Lac (+/- 10k). If needed, you can save some bucks in Cabinet by going sub ₹10k mark. You can also skip liquid cooling for now as i7 6600K is a pretty powerful silicon anyway clocking at 4GHz. As for GPU, I will suggest you to wait it out for a few weeks if you can, that should be a smart decision.

Let us know your final built!

        Thanks for the suggestion..
        My final build is ready.
I bought every component offline thts why got it at less price.
I researched some more and got this final build.
        Components –
        i7 6700k. – rs 24850
        Gigabyte z170x gaming 5 – rs 15800
        2 x 8 gb corsair vengence lpx – rs 5000
        Msi gtx 1070 gaming x – rs 39000
        Sandisk 128gb ssd – rs 2650
        Seasonic M12ii 750w fully modular smps – rs 8200
Corsair H80i GT liquid cooler for cpu – rs 7000

        Just got stuck in cabinet.
As I 1st selected corsair 780 t but when I went to the store they also showed me cooler master mastercase maker 5 as it arrived that day only…
Corsair 780t price is 13k and mastercase maker 5 is 14k.
So I need the final suggetion.
        Corsair or cooler master?

Offline is the best option if you have a great PC market in your state (like Nehru Place in Delhi).

Your build looks pretty neat. Good work!

So, CM MasterCase Maker 5 v/s Corsair 780T! That’s a tough one here. Clearly, 780T is the more utilitarian choice here but damn that minimalistic design of Maker 5, that really steal the show.

          MasterCase Maker 5 – DIY

          MasterCase Maker 5

I will most probably go for Maker 5 due to the following:
          • Customizable design (you can even add bits & pieces later as you like).
          • I/O panel on top seems pretty future proof/ready with buttons for the LED strip, fan speed control and four USB ports including USB 3.0 Type C.

Rest assured both of the cabinets are at par with each other, I am just inclined towards Maker 5 purely due to its looks. Functionality vice, 780T should serve you better with it’s bigger full-size roomy cabinet.

I really can’t give a suggestion here, see both of them in person & go with your gut choice. Either way, you can’t be much wrong.

Good luck! Let me know which one you went for? 😉

      Hi Raptor,

I am afraid I am a good one month late. Apologies as I was out of the station on travel.

Do you still need assistance in assembling that sweet gaming rig? Or have you built it already? Do share your view in either of cases?

Just keep in mind that Intel I5 6600K comes without a stock cooler, so you may want to buy one separately.

I also upgraded the GPU to MSI GTX 970 GAMING 4G G. Did increase the budget a little though. Planning to use Cooler Master Hyper TX3 Evo for cooling i5 6600k. It should arrest heating due to overclocking, right?

GTX 970 is a great 1080p card. It should play it all maxed out.

Cooler Master Hyper TX3 is a wonderful cooler for it’s price. It comes with 3 Direct Contact Heat Pipes which will assure your processor runs cooler even when overclocked.

Also, you may not need to overclock i5 6600 much as it is anyway a pretty fast silicon. But Nerds are nerds 😉

      Hi Pratik,

Sorry for the delay as I missed your comment.

I won’t recommend going with AMD FX 6300 now, as even the new i3 processor overperform the FX 6300 by a mile. So, you may want to look over that. Also, you may want to skip R7 370 in favour of GTX 950 or R9 270X (~same budget). You should spend a balanced amount in all components instead of cutting corners in mobo/processor/gpu and pouring money on cooler/mouse/cabinet.

      Just my $0.02.

You have chosen a wrong motherboard for the Wayne build. The 5960X is a X99 chip it does not work on a X79 chipset, and if I ws incharge of making the wayne build I’d spend some money on the CPU cooler rather than the sound card XD. Nice builds anyways.

      Hi Moksh!

      You are goddamn right!
Thank, I completed this rig at 4AM. Caffeine gone wrong I guess. Fixed it up with Asrock Fatal1ty Gaming X99X Killer LGA2011-v3.

And no one is in-charge for Wayne build! The problem with PC is there is no upper limit so I tried to keep things to max but sensibly, because this is Batman we are talking about. 😎
Though I am sure you haven’t heard the combo Creative SB1510+Logitech Z906 5.1, that’s why you made that remark. Trust me! Once you do, there’s no going back. 😛

But yes, I agree with you CPU cooler suggestion. Don’t know how I skipped it. Suggest me up the best suitable cooler and I will evaluate. 😀

The 3rd build is crap ?
Amd has a bigger driver overhead and pairing it with a fx 8320 means that an i3 with gtx 750ti will work way better and smoother. The new gtx 950 is around the corner anyways. And the antec x1 isn’t suitable at that price range too.

Assuming you are talking about i3 4340 (which ~pricerange as AMD), i3 doesn’t have much to offer when compared to Fx8320. i3 may have a better single core performance but overall in multicore performance AMD is at par with it along with better overclocking and more VFM.

Reasons to consider the AMD FX 8320 over Intel i3 4340:
      • Much more l2 cache: 16MB v/s 0.5 in Intel
      • Is unlocked: Easy to overclock.
      • More cores and thread: 8/8 v/s 2/4
      • More l3 cache: 8mb vs 4mb
      • Significantly better performance per dollar: Around 30% better performance per dollar
      • Better PassMark score: 8,183 v/s 5,277 (+55%)
      • Better Geekbench score 9,798 v/s 6,710 (+45%)

Yes! Keeping an eye on GTX 950. The reason for selecting Antec X1-T was because it provides an easy upgrade path. It supports ATX, micro-ATX and mini-ITX boards. Provisions for water cooling blocks are also provided. It’s got a USB 3.0 port also, which enables fast data transfer and access rates. HDD installation’s a charm; thanks to the Kensington lock system! 😀 The transparent window on the side of the case allows you marvel over your purchase.

      What do you suggest? 😎
