Ready Player One: A nostalgic ride back to the 80s

As some of you might know, I am a regular listener of a few tech podcasts. It is a story based out in future about how some VR game contest led humanity to be obsessed with 80s pop culture just to win a big prize bounty. I, being a nerd, immediately summoned Google assistant and asked it to take a note "read ready player one" on the Keep. And just like other stuff, it soon got lost in the myriad of other notes. But then one day …

So while mindlessly browsing through Reddit (my favourite pastime), I came across this interesting post - [WP] Harry Potter is a computer hacker, and the Horcruxes are seven backup servers that he must shut down to defeat the most wicked internet persona of all times: _v0ld3m0rt. I have read all the Harry Potter books and follow the universe with quite an interest, though I am not a part of fandom for sure. I was an avid user of Kindle app from 3 years which works flawlessly on Desktop/Smartphone and keep the content synced which is one of the main reasons of my investment in a dedicated e-book reader. So, as soon as I punched my Amazon's credentials in my Kindle e-reader, it automatically pulled all my books on their cloud. Then I discovered this piece of gem …

Amazon Kindle 7th generation Touch Ownership review

What made me consider Amazon Kindle 7th generation Touch? So as you can guess from my last post, I am an occasional reader. From time to time, I get reading madness and I start with a lot of books in a spree. So, I always wanted to develop a good reading habit but I am like super lazy. Buying and storing books can get really messy with time as one's collection grows. Literally if you ever come to my home, you will find books everywhere, from my Cupboard to Almirah, from my bed to book rack and more. Before leaving for Bangalore, I remember one of my friend showing me his Kindle (previous …
